"Rhapsody for an Unknown Klezmer"

Helmut Eisel records with Württembergischen Philharmonie.

Last week, our engineer Philipp Heck and assistant Hannes Fritz have been in Reutlingen to produce the lastest CD of clarinet virtuoso Helmut Eisel.

Known for his klezmer influenced music, he realized a big project called  'Rhapsody for an Unknown Klezmer' : Therefore he arrangend his pieces for a big orchestration regarding to record them with the Württembergischen Philharmonie Reutlingen.

After two days of rehearsal with the orchestra and the conductor Daniel Huppert from Schwerin, the unsual rhythmical elements of klezmer music have been trained and the record session could be started.

The young choirs "capo da" and "sing kids" under the leadership of Thomas Preiß brought the rocordings to a close on friday evening.
