"Western Music" made in Luzern

Recordings for the 2nd CD with the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra in Lucerne.

This time it was all about "Western Music". Under the conduction of Ludwig Wicki and with american producer Tim Starnes two concerts were recorded on Oct. 18th and 19th.

Responsible for the technical aspects were our sound engineers Johannes Wohlleben and Daniel Keinath.

In addition to the concerts, the rehearsals and preproductions were recorded.

Corresponding to the topic, the orchestra was very big:

80 musicians,  70 choir singer, two solo singer and several instrumental soloists.
Friends of the Western Movie totally got their money's worth.
From "High Noon" over "Once Upon a Time in the West" bis "The Magnificent Seven" , "For a Fistful of Dollars" and "Winnetou" everything that had great succes in this genre was played.

An acoustical highlight was the auditorium of the KKL Luzern with its great variable acoustics.

This week the mixdown took place in our Studio 1 with Tim Starnes and Ludwig Wicki on our Neve VXS mixing desk, mastering Johannes Wohlleben. We're looking forward to the forthcoming Album with great Hollywood sound.

The CD will be released on our label Chaos in spring 2015.
