...for a recording session in Studio 2
Soneros De Verdad from Cuba are currently and will be, until the 23rd of December 2011 - with a last gig at "Valparadaiso Del Mar" in Ludwigsburg -, on tour through Europe. In the beginning of December, they used their single day off for recording a complete album in Studio 2, which went on until the small hours. But this was not a problem at all, neither for the musicians, nor for the producer Detlef Engelhard as well as for our Tonmeisters Johannes Wohlleben and Christian Weigl, for the fully energetic music and some dancing interludes of Tres player Coto kept an exciting atmosphere through day and night.
Singer and band leader Luis Frank Arias and his band cast a spell on the audience with an emotive mixture of traditional Son, Danzón, Jazz etc. and impressively show their attitude towards life in Cuba.
