Look it up in the guestbook: the international jazz scene is coming and going at our address. As far as that goes, nothing has changed from the times of Lionel Hampton and Miles Davis up to that of Till Brönner. Everybody comes to us. Unless, of course, we ourselves get a move on and record on location. Like Keith Jarrett in Cologne.
And why do they all come? Despite all their variety, jazz musicians have one thing in common: they appreciate quality and commitment. That’s why they like to leave the recording to us. They get excellent acoustics and the best service here – for example, we provide all desired instruments up to the Steinway concert grand piano. But above all, they find a kind of know-how that you can no longer really distinguish from a love of music.
Some – and not only the younger ones – find a label beyond that: NEUKLANG. In any case, they feel just as at home with us as do the very greatest. Look it up … see above.
By the way: many recordings from our studios have been award-winners. Three Grammy nominations in 2008 alone!
